Mato Grosso will receive 483 new houses through the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program, with an investment of 28 million R $ from the general budget of the Union in 383 rural houses in eight municipalities, and 13 million r from the Social Development Fund for 100 units in area and jaraguari. Caixa Econômic Federal, in cooperation with entities, federal and state government and municipalities, coordinates the project. From February 2023, 1,764 units were possible in the state. “Entities responsible for the selection of families, the federal government, which assigns most resources, and the state government, which complements these investments, all play fundamental roles. In addition, municipalities bring basic resources, while Caixa, with specialist staff, operates the program,” explains Vilhalba.
