Speaking with Euronews, he said that the selection process is very important: this is not a sports competition. We are looking for someone who can convince the audience and the jury that he is a musician. We do not choose athletes, we are looking for real artists, and this program will allow us to see how universal they are, and if they have something to say with the music that they interpret.
