Jaguar was found dead in the Paraguay River, near Corumbá, 428 kilometers from Campo Grande, on Sunday afternoon (20), by agents from IHP (Homem Pantaneiro Institute) and PMA (military police).
According to the daily newspaper Corumbaense, the animal’s body seemed to lift about two hours of travel from Corumbá and was near the shipyard. The Institute said that it would technically help in investigating the cause of death.
The video obtained by Corumba Daily shows that Jaguar is taken by electricity. Another record was sent to the newspaper by reader Alessandro Lopes this Monday (21) in the Togilom region. Look above.
The report was questioned by the PMA communication office, but did not receive a return until this text is closed. The space is still open to future statements.
According to IHP, which works in maintaining the biological diversity of Pantanal, the death of Jaguar can have a negative impact on the behavior of the species in medium and long -term.
