Rita Diaz (president of the student network Erasmus), Maria Herra (finalist of the Inov Contacto program) and Lusia Prata (liberal initiative consultant in the European parliament) help to perceive European relations with the generation of the future.
In the elections in last year’s European parliament, only 3 out of 10 young people went to the polls, and many of those who voted chose left or right -wing parties of the political spectrum.
For Lusia Prata, this is perhaps because European institutions and institutions as a whole were also very far from young people.
“I think that there must be communication efforts, proximity, so that young people also have more naturally, willingness to participate,” says consultant on a liberal initiative.
Similarly, European identity has not yet won a position among young people. According to Rita, this is due to communication: “Not in the European Union to do less. I think, in a sense, we simply do not inform in a certain way that we achieve as an alliance, ”he says.
“And I think that this should be effectively investing in the best communication strategy in the European Union in order to understand where to achieve goals and achievements,” he adds.
According to Maria Herra, one of the ways to solve this can be supported by other management tools: “I think that the European Union can also be supported at the level of local and regional administration.”
There is much more to see and listen to the program of this week.
