Iran and US delegations began negotiations with Oman on Saturday to discuss Tehran’s nuclear program.
The negotiations discuss the enrichment of Uranus in Iran.
Speaking with Iranian state television and Associated Press (EP), the American source said that the last negotiation tour began in the Muscat, the capital surrounded by mountains.
Nevertheless, the Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Arakchi and the afternoon of the Middle East, Steve Vitkoff, did not provide any details about their leadership.
Arakchi went to Oman on Friday and met with Oman Foreign Minister al-Busadi, who was also an intermediary in the two previous rounds in the Muscat and Rome.
Witkoff was in Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday. Witkoff’un Oman reached Saturday.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently confirmed that Iran had to completely stop the enrichment of Uranus if Iran wants a civil nuclear program in the podcast.
“If Iran wants a civil nuclear program, Iran can have a program, as in many other countries, and this is for importing enriched materials,” he said.
Initially, Witkoff suggested that Tehran could enrich my uranium up to 3.67 percent, and then insisted that all the enrichment be stopped, going on the same line as Rubio’s position. Nevertheless, Iran is determined that enrichment in the country cannot be agreed.
Given the hostility between the two countries for decades, even the fact that negotiations have taken place are interpreted as a historical moment.
US President Donald Trump was unilaterally canceled from the Iranian nuclear agreement with world powers at the beginning of the reign in 2018.
