Thousands of believers and world leaders were present at the funeral of Pope Francis, who died at the age of 88 on Monday.
According to the first estimates, more than 250,000 people took part at the event, and 166 international delegations attended the Square of St. Petrus.

Many states and government leaders were present at the funeral. The event also played an important role in some diplomatic interviews. US President Donald Trump held a brief meeting with the French leader Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian leader Volumir Zelensky. Later, the US President met with Prime Minister Italy Melony.
