Events focus on strengthening the social protection network and supporting migrants
On Friday, April 4, Minister of Social Development and Welfare, Family and Hunger Fighting, Wellington Dias, will be in Corumbá, in the city 428 km from Campo Grande in the field of programs between 9h and 15h. According to the folder, the events focus on strengthening the social protection network and the support of migrants and refugees in the border region.
In the morning, from 9 am to 11 am, the minister participates in a meeting with the Corumbá town hall, in which the signing of the Act (Technical Cooperation Agreement) will take place between the commune and the DPU (public defender office), with the intention of strengthening social assistance for migrants and refugees.

At 14:30 a visit to the DPU building is planned, and at 15.00, ending the program in Corumbá, the minister visits the future Casa building to Migrante.
