Saquarema Stage (RJ) from the Brazilian Beach Volleyball District 2025, played this weekend, was marked by the domain of athletes from Mato Grosso to Sul on the podium. The most important events were double Thâmela/Vic and Arthur/Adrielson, who won the gold medal, and Saymon, who got silver next to his partner George.

Thâmela and Vic defeated the Olympic champions Duda and Ana Patrícia 2-0, showing evolution and consistency. Arthur and Adrielson crossed George and Saymon 2-1, consolidating as one of the strongest couples in the country. The next stage will take place in Brasilia, then Aracaju and Cuiabá. The performance of multiple sclerosis athletes strengthens their presence on the national stage.

In the dispute between Thâmel and VIC women (from multiple sclerosis) they were masters, defeating Olympic champions Duda and Ana Patrícia by 2 sets to 0, with partial 21/15 and 21/15. The Sul-Mato Grosso duo, which came from second place in the previous stage in Navegantes (SC), celebrated the evolution and maturation of the work.

Vic emphasized the team’s coherence: “It was our second finale in the national season, but this time the result was different. Our work is aware that it is long -term, with a greater goal.”

Among the men, the present Brazilian Masters Arthur (from MS) and Adrielson raised the first trophy of the season, defeating George and Saymon (from MS) by 2 sets up to 1 (21/18, 17/21 and 15/11). The victory also represents the consolidation of the duo as one of the strongest in the country.

“It is not easy to be in the next two finals of the Brazilian region. Brazilian beach volleyball is very strong, so it is an honor to reach another finale and achieve the title,” said Arthur.

The next stage of the Brazilian region will take place in Brasilia (DF), between April 23 and 27. Then the competition passes through Aracaj (SE), from May 14 to 18, and Cuiabá (Mt), July 16 and 20.
