According to the authorities, many people died. The video published on social networks shows that on Earth there are at least seven victims on Earth without movement – perhaps dead and wounded. There are also black SUVs with a hood.
The accident occurred on the evening of April 26, at approximately 20:00 local time, i.e. in the early morning on Sunday at the time of Central Europe.
In the East 41 Street area and Fraser Street, the street festival dedicated to the day of Abo Labu was held. This is a holiday in honor of the leader of the island of Macan Labo Labo, which is considered one of the first Filipino fighters with the Spanish colonists in the sixteenth century.
The driver was arrested. The reasons for what happened have not been reported yet.
The mayor of Vancouver Ken Sim said that he was “shocking and saddened” with what he called the “terrible accident” at the festival.
“Our ideas with all the victims and with the Philippine community in Vancouver at this very difficult time,” he said.
British Prime Minister of Colombia David IBi wrote on the social network X that he was “shocked and killed” because of what happened.
