A lawsuit filed by the company of film production Blade Runner 2049 Against Elon, Musk Tesla will advance.
As we reported last year, Alcon Entertainment said in its process that Musk used images generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI), which reflected scenes from their science fiction film 2017, presenting the new autonomous robotaxi Tesla on the marketing event of October 10. And the problem is that the producers rejected the request of Tusk with this.
“He did this,” the producers say, adding that the company did not want to be related to MUSK or its companies.
“Any prudent brand that considers partnership with Tesla should take into account the massively enhanced, highly politicized, capricious and arbitrary musk behavior, which sometimes turns into hateful speech,” the process says.
The company also claimed that Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) contributed to partnership.
Earlier this week, the court indicated Tesla’s attempt to obtain permission to use images Blade Runner 2049 At his event, which was refused just a few hours before the presentation.
“Various similarities” were also allocated among the advertising materials used by Tesla, and the images of the film, which were supposedly violated.
“Given the limited period with which Musk and Tesla worked, taking into account their request at the last minute – and the subsequent refusal in the last minute is to use the BR2049, it is incredible that the applicant claims that, based on information and conviction that the IA image generator was used to create a final product,” said the district judge of the district states, George VU.
Although most of the cases of copyright against Tesla received permission for consideration in court, the WBD cases were rejected – with the exception of one for violation of assistance, which is accused of resolving the alleged misconduct.
The court also agreed that WBD was not responsible for supervision of Tesla’s work on the presentation, adding: “There is nothing that indicates that Warner had a position or supervision/control against Tesla and Musk.”
