Equatorial sells Transmission Division to Canadian CDPQ for up to R $ 9.4 Billion

Equatorial electricity group (EQTL3) announced on Friday night the sale of its electricity transfer division to Canadian CDPQ, in a company that assigns a value of up to $ 9.4 billion to the negotiated assets, according to a relevant fact for the market.

The equatorial, which won the privatization auction of the largest sanitary company in Latin America, SABEP last year with a bid of about $ 7 billion sale, said that sales involve all documents of equatorial transfer said, which has seven transfer networks.
