Governor of California wants exceptions to customs for products manufactured in the state

California Governor Gavin Newsom said he will ask business partners to release California’s products from retaliation tariffs. The democratic governor said he led his team to explore new business opportunities and remind business partners that California is a stable partner.

“We are not afraid to use our market power to fight the biggest tax increase in our lives,” Newsom wrote in X in response to the latest Trump government prices.

The general fare for 10% of the United States on products imported from other origins comes into force on Saturday.
