The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that his centrist political party was the goal of a computer attack.

In a message published on the social network X, Tusk said that available tests suggest that the attack was an “eastern” origin, which is believed to be a reference to Russia or Belarus.

Tusk said that the computer system of his civilian platform was developed before the presidential election next month.

“Foreign election interference begins,” said Tusk in his online publication.

Jan Grabets, the head of the TUSK office, said to the state information agency Polaca Pap that the attempt to take control of the computers of the civilian platform and personnel of voters for 12 hours on Wednesday.

Answering the question whether Tusk indicates his finger to Russia or Belarus, Gasser said that this would be dedicated to the Polish secret services for comments, but in previous cases the Belarusians entered the Poles in the name of Russian secret services.
