With thousands of destroyed buildings and overloaded hospitals, Batan medical workers and Russian doctors belong to hundreds of people injured in impromptu centers.

The death of more than 3,000 people after a powerful earthquake in Myanmar, and 4715 were injured and 341 still disappeared, according to the government headed by the military. Local media suggest that the actual number can be much higher.

With damaged roads, the collapsed bridges and rescue teams, still digging in the wreckage almost a week later, the true measurement of the disaster is just starting to appear.
